Baby Streppa's Nursery Reveal
Less than a month out and I’m finally ready to share photos of the nursery!
(items linked @ bottom)
When we bought this house last year, this room was our unofficial “office”, which we never really used - it was always destined to be the nursery. So when we got pregnant, much before we were able to know the gender, I already started brainstorming what I wanted the nursery to look like, and I am so so happy with the result! I think the animal theme took a little while for Jared to get used to, but I love that it is gender-neutral, and everything other than the wallpaper is a neutral color, so I don’t think it is too busy. We are so lucky and blessed that my parents so generously gifted us our amazing crib and chandelier, and even more amazing - had it all assembled for us, since that is the really hard part! :)
It took me a while to decide on a dresser, but this one is the perfect size for our small dimensioned room. I wish you all could see the wallpaper in person, it really looks like a watercolor mural and is fantastic. Speaking of the wallpaper, if you need a good wallpaper guy in Chicago, I’ve got one! (Of course we didn’t do this ourselves). Our rug is old and from Ikea, re-purposed from another room, but I love the pattern against the mural. Now all thats left is bookshelves, but that’s one thing I still haven’t decided on.. and I figured it will be a little while until the Man starts to ask for books, lol! Our glider is actually a recliner and we ordered it from the cutest store in Lincoln Park called Twinkle Twinkle Little One. I can’t link the quilt on it since my mom made it for us!! How lucky are we to have such a talented Grammy :)
Now we just wait… 3 week countdown until 10/28!!
